JCF Sends Condolences Following Death of Police Constable in Crash

The Jamaica Constabulary Force mourned the loss of 37-year-old Constable Chadrick Cooke on Saturday, following a fatal two-vehicle crash on Farm Pen Road in Westmoreland. Around 3:30 a.m., Cooke was driving a Nissan Wingroad toward Savanna-la-Mar when a Toyota Noah traveling in the opposite direction failed to keep left, colliding head-on with his car. Emergency responders and the fire department extricated Cooke from the wreckage, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Constable Cooke was last posted at the Frome Police Station in Westmoreland. In response to the tragedy, the JCF High Command extended sympathies to his family, friends, and coworkers. The force's welfare, medical, and chaplaincy branches have been mobilized to provide ongoing support and assistance to those affected by the sudden loss of their colleague.
